Dr. Corey Willenberg began his work with the Oroville Union High School District in 1999, and is currently the Superintendent. Within the district he has had the opportunity to serve as: Assistant Principal at Oroville Adult Education, Principal at Oroville Adult Education, Interim Assistant Superintendent for Alternative Education, and most recently as the Director of Education and Student Services.
Dr. Willenberg holds a Doctorate of Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California, a Master of Arts in Education from the California State University, Chico, a Bachelor of Science in Food Administration and Dietetics from the California State University, Chico, and an Associate of Science in Hospitality Management from Columbia Community College.
Prior to joining the Oroville Union High School District, Dr. Willenberg worked as a teacher, basketball and track coach and principal for Biggs High School. He also served as Assistant Principal for Nelson Avenue School.
In his spare time Dr. Willenberg enjoys spending time with his family (his wife Christine and son Samuel), traveling, cooking and watching sports.
